On Saturday, 2/21/15, the senior nursing class participated in the Day of Dance at Sun City. It wasn’t specifically an SNA event, but several of us participated in the annual health fair hosted by Beaufort Memorial Hospital. Special thanks to our president, Jana McClendon, for getting us involved.
On Wednesday April 1, 2015, from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM, the University of South Carolina Beaufort will host its third annual health fair on the Hilton Head Gateway campus.
We’re excited for this event to return to USCB, and we (the USCB SNA) have partnered with the USCB Health Promotion Club and the USCB recreation department to make it happen. Plans are currently being finalized, and several participants are returning from previous years, including The Blood Alliance, along with many newcomers. More information to come.
Below are a few photos from the 2014 Health Fair.
It is hard to believe the 2013-2014 school year is almost over; and what an exceptionally successful year for USCB SNA. Processes were standardized, club rebranding took place, and we represented ourselves, the club, the program and the school in old and new and exciting events and outings (both on and off campus).
I am exceptionally proud of ALL the hard efforts of the club board members and contributions by club members and we are looking forward to the future continued successes of the club, the individuals involved, and the alumni! We wish the senior SNA board members [Allison Gill Pirog, Allison Singson and Caitlin Carroll] all the best on their new journey. We are transitioning in the 2014-2015 Executive Board at this time.
